We have been blessed to pursue our new venture.  The Smiling Llama came about as a direct result of our great love, respect and appreciation for Llamas and Alpacas.  Having raised them on our farm and using their luxurious fiber for clothing and craft item, what better way to share with the public their fibers and be able to give a brief education to the consumer on the history of the Llamas and Alpacas from Peru and Chile.

We also take great pride in purchasing products through the Fair Trade Federation.  Fair Trade provides a sustainable economy to preserve the culture and stop exploitation and reduce poverty.

We may not be able to change the World instantly, but we believe you should love what you purchase and be proud of it. Every item we purchase has a story behind it.
